Technology Enhanced Leadership Series – Using Technology to Streamline Your Day!

SuccessLink is pleased to announce registration is open for all school leaders (superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, assistant principals and other school leadership positions) to attend the Technology Enhanced Leadership Series.   This 4-day professional development series will assist school leaders in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to use technology as a tool to streamline their day for more effective and efficient leadership.

What participants receive:

1.       iPad

2.       4 days of instruction and practice with technology tools and products to streamline their day.

3.       GoObserve evaluation software and training

4.       One year subscription to the MO Teaching Jobs Premium site.

5.        Books to enhance their learning.

  Day 1 –

o    Participants will receive an iPad  to assist with everyday duties - District administrators use iPads to do performance evaluations, access student data, and share videos during staff meetings.  Administrators can call up a Google Form checklist to assess how well teachers are using technology, differentiating instruction, or following up on student interventions.

o    Participants will receive a one year subscription to; and training on the Premium version of the MO Teaching Jobs website.  The Premium version offers enhanced features that will allow users to manage the complete interview process by scheduling interviews, screening applicants with pre-interview questions, e-mailing applicants, taking notes on applicants and their reference checks and communicating with other administrators within their districts about applicants.  Best hiring practices will be highlighted during this session.

·              Day 2 – 

o    Electronic Curriculum tools – What’s out there and what will work for your district. Best curriculum practices will also be discussed, including MSIP requirements for curriculum. 

·              Day 3 –

o    GoObserve – GoObserve™ is a software tool which can help you more efficiently schedule classroom observations and more effectively capture the salient instructional activities that occurred during these observations. 

·              Day 4 –

o     Time Management tools – Participants will be given tools to enhance time management in their everyday routine.

o    Participants will be given the opportunity to explore and learn about tools useful to them.
