Mr. Darl Davis

Mr. Darl Davis is currently the Director of the Northeast RPDC.  Prior to his current position he was the Superintendent of Schools at Putnam County R-1 School District in Unionville, MO.  (He had been an administrator in Putnam County for 28 years.)  Prior to working in the Putnam County School District, Darl worked in the LaPlata R-2 and Scotland school districts.  He was a Social Studies Instructor in the Scotland County R-1 school district for 4 years.  Mr. Davis has served on the Missouri State High School Activities Association Board of Directors and also served as a board member for the Missouri United Insurance School Council.  Darl’s undergraduate degree is from Truman State University, his Masters Degree is from Truman State University and his Specialist Degree is from Truman State University.

Dr. Paula Kindrick Hartsfield

Dr. Paula Kindrick Hartsfield is the Director of Planning and Assessment with the Jefferson City School District. She has been an administrator of the district for twenty years in building level and central office positions.  Prior to working with the Jefferson City School District, she was in the Career and Technical Division of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for ten years. She was a charter member of the Satellite Leadership Academy and then served seven years as a facilitator for Satellite Leadership Academy. Paula started her education career as a vocational family and consumer sciences teacher. Her undergraduate degree is from Missouri State University, her Master’s degree from Kansas State University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.

Dr. Sandra Pettit

Dr. Sandra Pettit is currently the director of SuccessLink.  She is also Missouri’s representative on the board for the National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA).  Prior to working with SuccessLink, Sandra worked with the federal programs and grants in the North Kansas City School District.  Before working with federal programs, she taught in the St. Joseph School District.  Dr. Pettit has had the pleasure of serving as a STARR (Select Teachers as Regional Resources), and she has been involved with the Prairie Lands Writing Project and Leadership Academy.  Sandra’s undergraduate degree was obtained from Brigham Young University, her Master’s and Specialist’s degrees from Northwest Missouri State University, and her doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Mrs. Deborah Sutton

Deborah Sutton is director of instructional technology with Missouri’s Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Instructional Technology administers state and federal education technology grant programs, and oversees state ed-tech plan implementation, approval of district technology plans, and census of technology data collection. Deb has served as advisory board representative and/or founding member of a number of state, regional, and state organizations, such as the State Educational Technology Directors Association, High Plains R*TEC, Missouri Distance Learning Association, Missouri Educational Technology Professionals Association,  SuccessLink, MOREnet Council, eMINTS Advisory Board,
e-Learning:MO Leadership Team, and Missouri Homeland Security Safe Schools Working Group.

Mrs. JoNetta Weaver

Mrs. JoNetta Weaver is the Principal at Shepard Blvd. Elementary School in Columbia Public Schools.  She has been an administrator for the district for 7 years.    Prior to working as an administrator, she served as a mentor teacher for two years and classroom teacher with Columbia Public Schools for 12 years.  Before returning to Columbia she taught kindergarten for 6 years in Kentucky.  She also taught in the education department at Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, Kentucky for two years.  Her undergraduate degree is from University of Missouri, her Master's degree from Western Kentucky University, and her specialist degree from the University of Missouri.

Dr. Becky J. Widener

Dr. Becky J. Widener has spent more than 25 years in education. Fourteen of those years were dedicated to teaching social studies in public secondary school.  She is in her 11th year as a teacher educator at Columbia College and serves as Chair of the Education Department.  She is the current president of Missouri Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. Dr. Widener holds membership in numerous professional organizations and is involved locally in fund raising activities for the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. One of her highest priorities is preparing students to enter the teaching profession thereby providing the children of Missouri with highly qualified teachers.
